Psychological Assessments

I am pleased to be able to offer the following psychological assessments

for children and young people aged 5-16.

(Please note that unfortunately due to age specifications on assessment tools, I have no flexibility with this age bracket)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) 

Full multi-disciplinary developmental assessment across contexts using standardised assessment tools, giving a comprehensive outcome to best support young people and their families.

What's the process for psychological assessments?

If you have not seen me before, I will ask you to attending an initial screening appointment where we will discuss your needs and the options for assessment including cost.

 

After we have met once, I ask families to complete some screening forms and gather some background information before we will then meet again to discuss which assessments will be most appropriate.

​

If you wish to go ahead with the agreed psychological assessment, we will complete this over a number of appointments before then giving some feedback of the outcome. We will also talk through any local services which may be beneficial.

 

Once we have discussed the outcome of the assessment, you will receive your report which will include recommendations for home, school (if appropriate), and the future.

​

Please note - the outcome of an assessment may or may not include a formal diagnosis, depending on what is clinically indicated in the assessment.

Fees will be due in advance of work being completed, terms will be discussed and agreed prior to us booking any appointments/assessments.
